- How do you translate word statements to math expressions?
- How do you change a math expression into a word statement?
- What do product and quotient mean?
- How do you write math problems from word statements?
This video is similar to the two videos explaining how to translate from a word statement to a math expression and vice versa. This video goes both ways and uses multiplication and division as well as addition and subtraction. Some of these problems get a bit involved and require parentheses.
The video provides good examples using the words sum, difference, product, and quotient. I would like to see examples with more vocabulary in addition to these four words. It would be better if more real world examples were provided using the added vocabulary I've suggested.
