Lesson Summary:

In this lesson on trigonometric limits, we learn about the continuity of sine and cosine and how to evaluate limits involving these functions. We also explore the vertical asymptotes of the tangent, cotangent, secant, and cosecant functions and how to determine if a limit exists or not. Additionally, we discover the limit of sin(x)/x as x approaches 0 and related limits, as well as how to use algebraic manipulation to simplify and solve more complex trigonometric limits.

Lesson Description:

Limits involving sine and cosine. Vertical asymptotes of tan, cot, sec, csc. The limit of sin(x)/x as x -> 0 and related limits.

The great thing about this lesson is that there are several very involved examples that are stepped through. This video will explain everything about trig functions and their limits. One-sided limits for trig functions are discussed in depth as well. The strength of the video is certainly its examples.
