This lesson is a very basic introduction to relations. The purpose of this lesson is to show you what a relation is, show several methods of representing a relation, and explain some characteristics of a relation. These concepts will be used in the coming videos to explain when a relation is a function. First, however, the basics must be learned in this video. At the end of this lesson, a function is introduced.
