In this lesson, Professor Perez introduces the concept of logarithms, with the help of his nervous student Charlie. They start with a simple example of finding the exponent of 3 that gives 9, and then translate it into logarithmic and exponential forms. They also explore the idea of fractional exponents, and how they represent a radical. By the end of the lesson, students will have a basic understanding of logarithms and be ready to tackle more advanced concepts.
