Lesson Summary:

This lesson teaches how to find the slope of a line given two points on the graph. The first step is to determine the coordinates of the two points. Then, create a slope triangle to find the change in the height and the width, or the change in the y over the change in the x, which is the slope. Remember that slope can be positive or negative depending on the direction of the line from left to right or right to left. The lesson also provides different definitions of slope that can be used interchangeably.

Finding the slope of a line given two points on a graph
