Lesson Summary:

In this lesson, we learn how to find the rate of change in a real-life problem by analyzing a graph. By using the formula for rate of change, we can determine the slope of the graph and understand how quickly the balloon is descending. We also learn that a negative slope indicates that the graph is going down as we move to the right.

Lesson Description:

Finding the rate of change from a graph of a word problem

I show how to solve math problems online during live instruction in class. This is my way of providing free tutoring for the students in my class and for students anywhere in the world.
