In this lesson, we learn how to write equations based on real-life situations and how to solve them. We also learn about the solution to an equation, which is a valid statement when an ordered pair is substituted into an equation. The lesson includes examples of equations with two variables and how to find the domain and range of a function. We also see how to graph linear equations and how to determine the slope of a line. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to write and solve their own equations based on real-life scenarios.
