In this lesson, you will learn how to divide polynomials using long division. Though this method may seem grueling, it's important to understand how to do it as it can be used as a default method. To divide a binomial into a polynomial with a third degree, you will start by dividing the highest degree term by the binomial, and then multiply the quotient by the binomial. Finally, you will subtract the result from the original polynomial to get your remainder.
