Lesson Summary:

In this lesson, the teacher explains how to complete the square to solve for a function's values. The first step is to make sure there is no coefficient in front of the x squared. Then, the b over 2 squared value is determined, which is added and subtracted from the equation to create a perfect square. This perfect square can then be factored out and used to find the zeros or the standard form of the function.
