This video does a very good job of explaining factoring trinomials by splitting up the middle term into two terms by finding what two numbers add to give the middle term and multiply to give ac. Then, the four terms are factored by grouping. A great beginner’s factoring tutorial.

This video serves as a good basic review for students that need a refresher on factoring abc-type trinomials. It is very step-by-step - the whole video goes through just 1 example.
