Lesson Summary:

In this lesson, we learn how to solve a two-step literal equation by first identifying the variable and isolating it. Then, we use inverse operations to simplify the equation and solve for the variable. It's important to remember that literal equations will usually involve multiple variables and may not result in a direct numeric answer, but rather a numeric answer combined with variables.
