This lesson defines some basic terms and explains some basic concepts in sets. This is a great beginning video to watch to first learn about sets. These concepts are building blocks for further study and understanding of sets. A real-life example involving the students in the class is used in this lesson to help explain the idea of sets and subsets. Some subsets considered are students with glasses, students with blue eyes, boys, and girls. Intersection, union, and complement are also considered for subsets in the class.
