Lesson Summary:

In this lesson, Fluffy the Stuff Dog, Mr. Binkley, and Mr. Bender teach you how to make equivalent fractions and simplify them. To make equivalent fractions, you multiply both the numerator and denominator by the same number. The easiest equivalent fraction to make is to multiply by 10. To simplify fractions, you need to find the greatest common factor and divide both numerator and denominator by it. Dividing by the greatest common factor is a shortcut that makes the process easier.
