This lesson uses the same methods used for adding fractions but now you will be subtracting fractions. In most of these problems, you will need to find the least common denominator of the two fractions in order to subtract them. All steps to the example problems are shown and explained very well. Mixed numbers are also used in this subtracting lesson. Just subtracting the mixed numbers, changing them into improper fractions, and borrowing methods are all shown.
