In this lesson, you will learn how to solve a one-step equation using multiplication on fractions. The key to this is identifying the variable you want to solve for and not doing anything to that variable. Then, you need to look at the inverse operations and determine what is happening to the variable that is preventing it from being alone. In this case, it was being divided by 10, so the inverse operation is to multiply by 10. Finally, if you are multiplying a whole number by a fraction, you need to change the whole number into a fraction and multiply across.
