This video is the opposite of writing word statements in math. Sum and difference math expressions are translated into word statements. This can be tricky for some students, and many different problems are shown. Near the end of the video, some problems such as x + y = 5 are translated into the sum of x and y is 5.
Professor and charlie explain how the problems are suppose to be written and they do negatives and thats some good type of problems to know when your doing these kind of problems.
I really think this video was helpfull on converting numerical prblems into word problems. i found it really helpfull how he begins the problem by questioning if its a sum, difference, quotion or product.
Also a bit corny, but very helpful and easy to comprehend. Unlike the previous video, this video shows how to convert a math expression into a word problem.
