This video is similar to the two videos explaining how to translate from a word statement to a math expression and vice versa. This video goes both ways and uses multiplication and division as well as addition and subtraction. Some of these problems get a bit involved and require parentheses.
The video provides good examples using the words sum, difference, product, and quotient. I would like to see examples with more vocabulary in addition to these four words. It would be better if more real world examples were provided using the added vocabulary I've suggested.
The video provided simple and easy to remember definitions for sum, difference, product and quotient. It was efficient in showing a person how to write the terms in both words and a mathematical expression. I would recommend it.
This video gave me some very good examples on how to turn word problems into numerical problems. i think they should add more vocabulary words for those who dont know all the word meanings.
This video seemed to mainly focus on the difference between the sum, difference, quotient, and product. This video was clear and easy to understand. But it was a little confusing at first on the difference between an expression and an equation.
I thought the video was kind of cheezy at first but it showed very simply the breakdown of word problems sectioned off at the top of the screen which was a nice touch.
Although the video is a bit corny, it clearly explains how to translate simple word problems into math expressions. They go over what every word means and what each word represent in the math expression. It was a pretty helpful video.
