One of these methods includes Vedic math, which uses a geometrical pattern to arrive at the result of multiplication. The lesson also covers other techniques, such as the Arab method of Ladi's multiplication and John Nipir's bonds, which use rods and numbers to simplify the process. By exploring these different methods, students will gain a deeper understanding of how multiplication works and how to apply these techniques in real-world scenarios.

Learn about and see several example problems of an incredible method of multiplying numbers, especially large numbers. This vedic multiplication is accomplished by drawing a weaving pattern using straight lines to represent digits geometrically. This is a truly unique and interesting method of multiplication. Lattice or Sieve Multiplication is also explained with an example, as well as Napier’s Bones Multiplication. All of these methods are very efficient and useful for multiplying large numbers.
