Lesson Summary:

Logarithms are a new notation that allows us to solve for y when it's in the exponent. If f of x equals b to the x, then f inverse of x is the log of x base b. We can convert from log to exponential form and vice versa, and then apply our knowledge to solve problems involving logarithms. We can also simplify log expressions by using the definition of logarithms, which is the exponent, and applying basic algebraic concepts.

Lesson Description:

This is an introduction to Logarithms. Includes the definition, how to change and equation from log form to exponential form, and vice versa. We simplify a log expression.
