In this lesson, students are taught how to find the rate of change from a table. The focus is on understanding the concept of change and how it relates to dependent and independent variables. Students are shown how to identify changes in Y values over changes in X values, and how to express the rate of change as a ratio. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to confidently calculate the rate of change from a given table.
