Lesson Summary:

In this lesson, you will learn how to solve two-step equations with fractional coefficients. The instructor demonstrates two methods: the traditional way of solving equations with fractions and an alternative method of multiplying every term by the common denominator to eliminate the fractions. By using these methods, you will be able to solve equations with fractional coefficients with ease.

This lesson shows how to solve a two-step equation. The example problem explained in this lesson involved fractions. Two different methods of solving this problem are shown. The first is the customary way of subtracting and then multiplying by the reciprocal. The other method is to remove all fractions from the start by multiplying by the LCD.
