In this lesson, we learn how to solve a two-step rational equation. To do so, we start by simplifying the equation as much as possible, often by getting rid of the fractions. Then, we use inverse operations to isolate the variable, being careful not to confuse the negative sign with the negative variable. By following these steps, we can successfully solve rational equations with ease.
