In this lesson, students learn how to solve for a variable in an equation using subtraction and division. To get the variable by itself, the opposite operations must be applied. For example, to solve for V in an equation with subtraction, one must add the subtraction value to isolate the variable. Similarly, to solve for V in an equation with division, one must multiply by the inverse value. With practice, students can become proficient in these techniques and solve equations with ease.
