Solving for x using Addition and Division
In this lesson, we learn how to solve for x in an equation using addition and division. The objective is to get the x variable by itself, with our final solution being x equals. The process involves first undoing what is being added or subtracted to the variable by doing the opposite operation, then undoing what is being multiplied or divided to the variable by doing the opposite operation. By following these steps, we can solve simple two-step equations.
