In this lesson, you will learn how to determine the domain, vertical asymptote, and x-intercept of a logarithm. It is important to know the general form of the graph, which will always cross at 1,0, and the domain will be 0 to infinity. The vertical asymptote is x equals 0. The base of the logarithm does not affect these aspects of the graph. To find the x-intercept, you need to set f(x) or y equal to 0 and solve for x using logarithmic arithmetic conversion to exponential form.
