PEMDAS
In this lesson, we learn about using the order of operations by following PEMDAS. PEMDAS is an acronym that stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), and Addition and Subtraction (from left to right). We see an example where we have to work on the innermost parentheses first, then look for exponents, and finally, finish off with addition and subtraction. By following these steps, we can simplify the expression and arrive at the correct answer.
Using order of operations by following PEMDAS
