Lesson Summary:

In this advanced algebra class lesson, students learn about probability with combinations in an "at most" scenario while drawing cards from a standard deck. The students are motivated with music and reminded of the basics of combinations. They are then presented with a problem where they calculate the probability of drawing at most two clubs out of five cards. The students are walked through the process and reminded of the calculations they need to remember. They are then given a new problem to solve on their own. By the end of the lesson, students should have a good understanding of how to calculate probability with combinations for at most scenarios.

Lesson Description:

This lesson is fun, interesting, and very useful. Problems with probability are explained with some pretty cool background music for motivation. You will want to make sure that you know what choosing means in probability. This particular example is quite challenging, but practical.
